Great little local place. Looks mostly like a bar on the outside but definitely a good place to go for lunch. I had the Caesar salad. It was good but not amazing. I love salad and I judge based on the dressing and overall taste. My coworker had a salad that had chicken strips on it and he liked his salad. Everything is fresh and they do a good job on presentation. In the past I have gotten the club sandwich and it was really good. It is a good place to have a quick lunch.

First time eating here, and I have to say I'm so beyond disappointed. I order $60 worth of food, and it's all disgusting, burnt, and cold. I ordered a chase club, got the ends of the loaf of bread , hard stale bread, and cold, hard bacon. I asked to add avocado but got guacamole instead. Also ordered a Irishman burger, a regular hamburger, and a French dip all of it was burnt, had old cold meat, and you could taste all of the food burnt to the grill from what I would hope is just from today. When I called to figure something out, all I was told was that the manager wasn't available and they don't know when they will, maybe Monday. Now I work at a restaurant and when someone complains about their food, I don't need a manager to help them myself. I figure it out and get it taken care of... I don't think I'll ever try to eat here again.

The Chase Bar & Grill in Independence was a fantastic experience. This place has everything you need for a relaxed and pleasant evening. They have indoor tables and a outdoor patio with a cozy gas fireplace, where smoking is allowed. Everything on the menu is delicious, but they are know for there juicy burgers. Bartender's are Josh & Zach, both are amazing & take pride in their work. Masks required, limited parking, cash and plastic accepted.

I went there with some of my other girlfriends a few nights ago, and though I have always enjoyed Chase's, I was disappointed that one of the customers' dogs was allowed to roam around unleashed. Naturally, for a dog, it was rummaging around the floor for food scraps, and running underneath the tables where people were eating, as well as underneath the people sitting at the bar. The cook was petting the dog, and I'm not sure that he washed his hands before he went back and cooked the next order. I know that people have different ideas about dogs in public places, but I think that dogs should stay on a leash, and be under control, especially where people are eating. As lovable as dogs are, they do carry bacterial infections with their saliva and kisses. Some people would prefer not to have a dog sniffing under their table while they're eating. A few nights before that, when I was at Chase's with my mother, there was a small dog roaming off-leash. My mother has balance problems, and she didn't feel comfortable having a drink because of her concerns of tripping over a small dog.
