Carol's Kitchen

So for a number of weeks, I've driven past this little restaurant, always seeing a full parking lot. My wife drove by it a few times, and thought the same thing. Well, we decided to make a trip and a trip was totally worth it. The food is fresh, the service is amazing, and it just makes you feel like you're right at home. They were also super attentive to my children, which is a great quality in your wait staff. I could see the servers constantly cleaning, and can tell you that this is a very clean place. It's also a very big place for being a small little restaurant, they have a lot of seating, and can accommodate larger groups. As far as the food, they had a great menu of selections. The pancakes were as big as a plate, and the sausage gravy I got was amazing. I had a side of sausage come out, and it wasn't your typical round, frozen, manufactured, sausage patty. it looks like it was handmade. Everything tasted amazing. Totally recommend this restaurant !

The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The prices were also decent. The only complaint I have is that it took more than 5 minutes to get acknowledged after sitting down at the bar. Also, I was not greeted as I walked in.

In town to see the dinosaurs & the petroglyphs. Carol’s Kitchen got great reviews on Yelp. Stopped in for breakfast before heading back home. Yelp reviews weren’t wrong. The biscuits, jam, gravy, corn beef ‘n hash, oatmeal, pancakes, bacon & the coffee were all delicious. The service was amazing. The table next to us ordered french toast. It’s in our list to order on our next trip down. Along with extra biscuits ‘n gravy & jam.

I had for lunch a ham and cheese omelet. It was very good, lots of ham. Hash browns were great and they have there home made jam for the toast. It was a busy day but we didn't wait long for our meal.

The best food in the basin at least breakfast that's what we had. Home style cooking and great service excellent price great environment. Don't miss out on this place. Say hi to Carol the owner she has put a lot into having such a great place.????
