Annette’s Diner,Fried Chicken, Bakery

Food was OK for the price. Could have gotten better food down the road in town. Wife asked for jalapeños on the side but they put it in the breakfast burrito. When she mentioned it they said ok and walked off. Service was friendly. And they did have some toys for little ones (though could tell it had been a while since they had been cleaned). Place could use a good cleaning. Looks like it has been a few or many years since it had a cleaning. Could tell by the state of the home fries the griddle has not been cleaned right. Anyone who cooks on a griddle knows what I mean. That burnt carbon pieces that come off when grilling something else.

The food was good, some things could be better. The fries were unsalted, the fish was good but lacking flavor from the batter, the last few bites were slightly watery. The fish and chips plate came with a lot of fries and my wife’s plate (the Mac Burger) came with so little. The fried pickle appetizer was delicious, I am a sucker for fried pickles and must try them where ever I find them and were pleasantly surprised by these. Everything was good in the end, I will return.

Had the Burgers and Fries Fries with Jalapeño Poppers. Service was quick, Order came right out. The Food was very tasty. Everything was fresh. I’ll definitely go back and try other Menu Items. The Chowders seem the most economical. Many local Folks dine there. It’s located in a fairly new Plaza. They have Pizza by the Slice and Taco Tuesdays too.

The food is overpriced for the quality of what you get. The waitress didn't want to elaborate on the difference between the "canned hash" and the homemade hash . She was very curt. I didn't like her attitude. The ladies in the bakery were very sweet.

Homemade Sausage and biscuits, real homefries, Homemade Hash - made with Homemade corned beef. Homemade bread...get the picture? Full Bar. Typical diner food menu plus pizza including breakfast pizza. Toys for your littles to play with.
