This place is awesome. It's our first time, and we will definitely be back. Glad we stopped by on a whim. The service was great and friendly even though they were packed. We ordered fried pickle to start, and they were the best I've ever had. Definitely hand made on site. Then I got a steak surf and turf and my wife hit a Homestyle Bowl. Everything was perfectly cooked, and we got everything in a timely manner despite how busy they were as well. And the pie... Well we ended up buying a whole one to go, and those are homemade too!

This is a great local restaurant with something for everyone. The service was great and the beer was cold. I tried to Rib eye with fried okra and a loaded bake potato. Can't wait to go back and get a side order of fried okra .

We went on a Thursday night, Prime rib special. The place was packed, so we had a short 15-minute wait for a table. No different than any wait time if we drove up to the KC area, and this is closer to home. Nice small town atmosphere, I always prefer this type of restaurant. Our waitress was very good and stopped by multiple times to check on us. The food was a great home cooked meal with large portions, well worth the price. If you are anywhere close to their location, you should stop in and have some GREAT food. It is worth the drive.

I've been eating at this place for over 20 years and I've never been disappointed I hadn't been in for a couple years so I decided to go this week and I'm sure glad I did because it was delicious . I had an open face beef with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and two pieces of toast oh man it was so good The roast beef was so tender and delicious lot of gravy.

First time there wife had the grilled ham and cheese which we got it was cold most of the ham was on half of the sandwich in the cheese wasn't melted. I had a Philly cheese steak which I couldn't get the way I wanted because I can't eat onions and they premix all their stuff so they threw mushrooms on it for me it was on a hard bun wasn't good won't go back
