Bell's Motor Lodge Motel

Stayed here while in the area for work. Really a nice place to stay on a budget. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, WiFi and a big TV on the wall with plenty of cable channels. None of the frills like breakfast or a gym, but what do you expect for the cost? This is a high traffic tourism area and we were just grateful not to pay $220 - $500 per night like most other places. The staff was friendly and provided us with clean towels and service when we requested it. The manager and his wife were nice to talk to. We also appreciated that they didn't allow riff raff like your typical mom and pop motels are starting to do. So many of these places in the bigger cities we work are run down and the people staying are pure drama. Not the case here! We will definitely give them a call when we are back in the area.

Convenient motel with a clean bed and big shower. Loved the large shower with newer tile work, very clean. The commode had been reconfigured at some point so it could be tricky and tight for some to maneuver and fit into the space. Hopefully one day all carpet will be gone from motels. The ac was set on 72 and controlled by the office, so not a great nights sleep for a middle aged woman and 100 degree days.

My little family and I recently came back from vacation in South Dakota and I can say staying in this hotel really helped us have a stress free trip. The hotel wasn't ready when we got into town, I believe we were an hour early, so the manager said to give the staff 2 hours. No problem! We went sight seeing at some nearby parks and we also went to the local fish hatchery to kill some time. We came back about 2 and a half hours later and were able to go to our room. The vibe was awesome! There is a vintage look and feel to the room but with some updated touches like a big screen tv, mini fridge, and small microwave. There was even a big dresser that had about 7 or 8 drawers to put clothes in if needed! Our room was attached to the laundry room so around 8:50-9 am every morning we could hear and feel the laundry being done but that was no problem since we were up by 7 with our girls. Every time we came back from our daily visits around town, our beds were made up, our trash was taken out, we had new towels, and the room just felt as though we had just checked in. The manager is so sweet and friendly and will make sure everything is okay. There is a small little playground and pool on site as well. It is close to food and fun. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone in town to come here! They have good rates and we had a very comfortable and fun stay. Thanks!

Ok..this place is retro rad and the staff member I met was very nice. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It has updated bathrooms but I imagine the rest of it looks the same as it always has. I dropped 1 star because there was no in suite phone. For most people this wouldn't be a big deal at all but this location was in a cell phone dead zone for me and had I needed to call anyone for an emergency I'd be screwed. The WiFi was not so great either even right next to the window so I was unable to let my husband know where my toddler and I were for the night on our trip from WA to MN. I'd probably stay there again WITH my husband...we LOVE places like this!

The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was an added bonus and the water temperature was perfect. They provided ice along with bags of ice for purchase. I would definitely stay again, it was a lovely experience.
