Barbara Ann's Southern Fried Chicken

My food was fresh and HOT! My fried chicken was crispy, Mac n cheese was delicious, and my red velvet waffle was perfect. My husband had the turkey bbq plate and ate everything. He’s picky about his Mac n cheese but said it was amazing!

This past week was our first time trying Barbara Ann's and we were floored! I personally had a gizzards plate as shown in my photo. Not pictured was fried chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, green beans, and potato salad. Every bite was seasoned to perfection, cooked just right, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The only thing I wasn't too big on was the fact you have to place your order in person if you are paying cash, but can place your order over the phone and pay in advance if you are paying with card. Wasn't ideal for us being we were paying with cash, however the food made up for it!!

The lady that took my order was sooo kind! This is a takeout establishment, parking is located in rear of building. Now...I ordered the 8pc family special with mac and cheese and baked beans. This is by far one of the most erethreal dining experiences I've EVER had!!! You can literally taste the love and care with each and every morsel of food. At my first bite, I couldn't help but to wiggle in my seat. Everything was literally perfect!

My apologies if this is the 2nd review I've posted. I didn't see my 1st review..... The picture I attached is a plate I made from the original plate that was made at the restaurant (was sharing with my son). The workers were really nice and worked hard to get our food orders completed. The chicken was over seasoned. The rice n gravy tasted sour as if it were leftover from yesterday or the day before. The mac n cheese and greens were fine. I plan to visit again to get another opinion.

I got the white chicken plate with mac & cheese and rice & gravy with cornbread. I loved everything on my plate. The chicken was moist with great crunch and flavor. The cornbread was possibly the best cornbread iv ever had. The Mac and cheese was really good not bland like most places. The rice in the rice and gravy was slightly undercooked but the gravy made up for it. After I ordered I wished I would have gotten some pudding for dessert but I will definitely be back.
