Acme Beauty Supply in Richton Park

The man doesn’t speak when you come in there & the prices are outrageous.. I asked him to remove my nose rings because they were $3.99 a piece & he seemed to have a attitude to where as he didn’t even dismiss me, just placed the receipt in my bag and walked away. I was being lazy and didn’t want to drive to beauty trends but I’m taking that trip every time !!!

Updated review Monday July 22st: Came here to make a return on wrong hair color pieces that was purchased on last week Friday. The guy said this was the wrong receipt and I knew it wasn't. Apparently the lady charged a different price for the hair pieces. I asked him if there was hair gel on the receipt because I purchased hair gel as well and he said no, I looked at the receipt again and there was the hair gel purchase. I knew it was about to be some bullshit with getting my refund. He asked me if I could come back tomorrow because the lady that rang me up will be there tomorrow. Something told me not to come back to this beauty supply store but I did listen so I'm more mad at myself for coming back here. I felt comfortable while shopping inside. Meaning no one was was five feet away watching over me aggressively.The cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product I enquired. The cost of the product is what I paid on Amazon.

I love being kindly greeted and helped by the woman cashier with locs (sorry idk her name) but she is so kind and sweet!! That’s why I enjoy shopping here :)

They've never followed me around but the middle aged gentleman is extremely disrespectful. The two ladies, Sue and Carol were very nice but the next time I went in they didn't recognize me and didn't offer the same good customer service that I received the previous time. I only patronize the establishment because it's extremely convenient. You pay for convenience. In one form or another.
