Winstead's American Grill & King of Pizza

The reviews here are either great or horrible. My wife and I went there last night. The service was good. My wife got the ribeye and I got the flat iron steak. We both enjoyed our meals. There are a lot of things on the menu I would like to try. We will definitely be back.

Service is the worst I have experienced anywhere in the area. It’s too bad this place has such bad service. The food is good but service is so bad I’ll never go back. It’s a crying shame to have a restaurant with good food and atmosphere but you can’t service your customers. Been there once never to go back. Zero stars for service! They wander around like they don’t want to be there can care less if they take care of you. Had to ask for refills had to ask for to go boxes had to ask for the damn check! Rate this place a 1 star since you can’t have good everything with bad service. In these economic times too many other places fighting for my business. I hope they can figure out their help situation because they lost someone for life now.

July 5th 2025, heard this restaurant had great food. We stopped in to try and left greatly dissapointed we were sat right away and got our drinks watched as 3 other groups came in after us. Each one had there orders taken and we still sat there waiting over 30 minutes and nobody took our order so we left the money for the drinks on the table and left and let the hostess no, she apologized and tried to give me the money back for the drinks I said it was OK we drank out of them wont be back there for awhile maybe try them another time down the road but apparently today wasn't that day.

Service was good and the restaurant was clean. Stopped in here because the reviews made it seem like it was a good spot. We were here from out of town for work and had lunch here. I had the burger it had a weird taste and oddly enough I ate about half and had enough. My employee had the calazone and said it was OK. At least we know now and can say we tried. If the burger was not good i myself would not try anything else.

We were hesitant to come here due to the 3.2 star rating on Yelp, but we’re glad we tried it anyway! The service was excellent, the portions were a good size for the price, and everyone enjoyed their meals - burgers, super dog, and pizza on cauliflower crust. The chili and cole slaw on the super dog were very tasty! The restaurant (including the bathroom) was very clean. Great experience!
