Wonderful park with paved walking paths and views of the river. Designated fenced dog park with separated sections for large and small dogs. Public parking with many spaces and restrooms. Peaceful place to enjoy nature and get some exercise.
I absolutely love this green belt for the canyon county area. It’s usually pretty peaceful here at the right time and in the winter it’s gorgeous. It’s not the greatest for rollerblades though because the water level floods onto 2 different parts of the path which brings up a lot of rocks so even when it’s dry it’s not great for blades. It’s is a lovely walk though. I’ll pick up trash here as well because it was a place I could find peace and feel safe with a bathroom when I was struggling with no home and living in my car. I do remember never having soap in the bathrooms which is why I give a 3 star. The people can suck but that’s the thing, there just people. It’s a nice experience if your smart and safe.
This is a dog friendly area which I truly enjoy not a lot of parks are open to four-legged family
Can't go wrong at this place... It's quiet, it's clean, never crowded and So many different types of ducks! Everyone loves ducks!
There's a couple trails to get around the river, from the parking lot heading away from the city you'll see a path that goes around the golf course. Fishing, floating down the river and even a dock for rafting . Absolutely a serene place within city limits. Everyone is spread out as well.
