Whiskey Row Pub

This bar isn't jumping on the cowboy frontier theme that you see in virtually every other bar on Whiskey Row and it's kind of refreshing. Always playing great music. Great bartenders. Good batch of regulars to give the place character and you gotta love the 2 for 1 beers on tap. There's a bit of deception happening here as the mugs are 11oz in size.

My wife and I come up from the valley at least twice a year to come enjoy Prescott and all it has to offer, This time we wanted to check out whiskey row because we have heard it was alot of fun and there are good bars there. This was the first bar we walked into and it looked like a good atmosphere so we proceeded to the bar and the bar tender lady told us that it was cash only but pointed out the ATM. So we got cash and began to order at the bar and then we were asking her about the drink specials and which the better deals were and then out of nowhere the bartender lady completely snapped and and began yelling at us what the specials were and saying not to question her in her bar when we had literally just asked a simple question and proceeded to yell at us and tell us to get out of her bar before we could get our first drink! My wife and I were completely dumbfounded what had just happen and left and went to Matt's Saloon which was much nicer bar and obviously much nicer staff!

Beer is BOGO, 4.50 per draft. They give you a token for your free beer.

We came here on a Friday afternoon a couple weeks ago for a quick drink. Honestly, not anything special. It'd be a great bar if it weren't for the slow and inattentive service from the bartender, but without great service, there isn't a whole lot to compete on compared to other bars in the area.

Music’s too loud and obnoxious. Half the crowd doesn’t look 21. Doesn’t seem like there’s a capacity, not much room to move about. When I’m out I like a more relaxed atmosphere where shouting is not required to hear the person next to you and even then you don’t understand a thing.
