Great restaurant in Prescott, AZ. Oldest saloon in Arizona. Great atmosphere of the Old West. Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday used to visit. Built in 1870. Service is great and the drinks are better. Sit at the bar, the bartenders are great fun. Everyone working dresses in western wear. Lots of seating, make sure check out the upstairs. Great menu with plenty of appetizers and entrees. Try the pork sliders and 8oz filet.
We loved this place! The history element to it was so cool to get to experience. We had prosciutto wrapped shrimp to start, followed by a filet for myself and a ribeye for my husband. Even though it was a Friday dinner rush, we were seated right away and our service was prompt. Our steaks and bakers were cooked perfectly and very tender. I would say it's a must-do while in Prescott.
We love to come to Prescott for some antique shopping and typically make a full day of it. We always try and have a meal at The Palace. There is so much history here and always worth stepping inside even if it’s just for some appetizers a drinks. I was bummed this trip to see the piano was gone, but still a great stop today. We came right at opening and got to choose our own seat which rarely ever happens. The place packs up very quick. Today I opted for the street tacos while most of my family ordered the hot wings as well as salads. The tacos are u see the appetizer option, but for me it is the perfect meal if you don’t want it overstuff yourself. The flavor is good and I was happy. The salsa that comes with them is the perfect add on. I tried a few of the wings which were also good, but I prefer fried wings not baked. Everyone chose hot as their option, but had a bit of a sweet taste to them as well. Service was awesome and we were checked on many times and drinks refilled. You can also buy souvenirs if you’d like. I love history and just knowing Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and more were here is cool. Reading about the gun fights and ghostly history makes it even cooler.
We stopped in for dinner and had a great experience. There was live music playing and awesome ambience (oldest restaurant in the country) including the servers dressed in old time clothes, and we especially enjoyed all the old time paraphernalia. Our server was excellent, and we liked the food. Husband ordered a burger and coleslaw. I wasn’t as hungry and ordered the street tacos, then learned the tacos were on special, $3 each. We even shared a dessert: a rich salted caramel brownie with ice cream. We both enjoyed our dinners and the whole experience
This place is a MUST dine in!!! Its soooo cool! The waiters dress as western attire with makes the experience fun! The food is delicious! Great service and a great atmosphere :)
