Western Tap

Came here for a quick bite while we were in the area the only issue what so ever was the parking. If it was packed it would be hard to find parking but other than that it was an amazing experience. Theres an inside and an outside. The inside is a nice bar and outside there is two patios one with high tables and the other had short picnic tables with two tvs. They even had a corn hole set up. There was also a fan outside which I thought was a nice touch. The outside looks like a cool old tavern. The food was good priced best eleven dollars I've ever spent on a burger meal. Best burger I've had in a long time. It was fresh juicy and absolutely delicious I got the double cheeseburger and fries the fries are amazing. They were really crunchy but not hard a perfect in-between.I swear this was one of if not the best bar and grill restaurants I've ever been too. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and inviting. Everyone was super friendly the service was perfect we had three burgers and got it in ten to fifteen minutes. I felt like I was at home with friends. If your in the area this is definitely the best bar to stop in town for a calm night and good food. The jack and coke was well mixed and everyone in the area feels like a community very nice people.

Decades of driving by this place finally stopped in on recommendation of a friend. Enjoyed my angry cowboy double cheese burger with everything and sweet potato fries. Wife ha a cheese burger with fries and our cousin had the Western Club with fries. This was an impulse buy been listening to Jimmy Buffett alot. Many years wasted not going here.

On our recent visit to Bloomington from Chicago, we came across this perfect bar. Perfect in any way thinkable, perfect food, perfect service. I recommend this place for anyone in the area.

Driving through Bloomington/Normal we were looking for a pet-friendly place to eat lunch and found Western Tap! Our waitress brought out a bowl of water for our dog right away. My wife enjoyed the patty melt and I really liked the fish tacos - crispy / peppery chunks of fish and the Boom Boom Sauce was nice (probably a mixture of 1000 Island and Frank's Red Hot). Would definitely return!

Had tenderloin sandwich. Not huge like some places, but very tasty. Great onion rings. Lot of tv's. Actually ran into someone with whom my wife used to work!
