West County Uncle Bill's Pancake and Dinner House

The food is great. The server pretty well forgot about me after she collected my empty plate. Refilling my water should have still been a possibility for her. She went from a 10 dollar tip down to a 5 dollar tip. Besides that she was pleasant and got our orders correct. My only criticism is the floor is filthy. I got there at 4 pm on day before Thanksgiving and there was nobody there. Staff was sitting around not doing anything. There's no reason to have that much debris on the floor when there's nothing else going on. I'll come back again.

Bathroom smelled dirty upon walking in , the wait was entirely too long to still get overcooked pancakes, the food for the most part was okay however people came in after my family and were promptly severed; not sure how the tickets are being placed in the kitchen . This place at one time was 5 star 3 or so years ago. I don't see myself making another special trip for expensive food and not so great services. I appreciate the hostess more than our server.

We went in on a Sunday morning. I was worried about it being busy and not being seated quickly but the line went very fast. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Friendly staff as well.

Food arrived quickly, service however was somewhat poor. The woman tending the coffee spent more time helping us (and with a warm, welcoming attitude) more than our server. Great variety of menu options and was grateful to see they are actually open 24hrs and serving a full menu throughout the day. The food itself was unremarkable, I had a Belgian waffle with a strip of bacon and a sausage link, with a scrambled egg on the side. Husband ordered the 4D, with pancakes, bacon, & eggs. Serving portions were good. I had a hard time finishing off my waffle but managed. Restroom was not handicap friendly, the required handrails but too narrow to properly accommodate a wheelchair. It could use some TLC, a little updating, though not to interfere with the homey and, overall, old-fashioned appeal of the place. I would consider stopping again next time I'm in town, but would not go out of my way to do so.

Overall great experience. Short wait for setting, great service, fair prices, good food. Pancakes were a little burnt and dry, but the biscuits and gravy were good. Would return again.
