The place is great, great produce, meats, seafood and many different other ethnic foods BUT the customer service here sucks! Which sucks because they have the best prices. Sucks!

Awesome place for Asian groceries. Fresh meat and veggies are available too. When the meat counter isn’t too busy, you could ask for them to help slice meat into thin pieces too. We usually as for pork bellies to be sliced into 3/4 inch thick for grilling.

Cheap crabs but you have to let them know that you are not just taking what they give you. 1/3/2024 as of yesterday they're selling crab for $10.99 a pound. It was $5 cheaper before new years. So I guess I'll try Sf market they're $3 cheaper and they're always the cheapest place to go. For fresh and live crabs them and welco

Worst place to shop at. One of the workers over there actually lives behind my family's apartment and like she literally made her co-worker talk to me about a noise complaint. I was literally there to buy some ice cream for my mom and they both held me prisoner to interrogate me. The worker has short hair and wears glasses. Her co-worker told me that my family was being loud at 2-3 A.M. Sunday morning. I just told them that we have a new kitten to take care of and I wasn't even up at that time because I'm still in high-school. Her co-worker thought that I said "kidney" and later on I had to say baby cat just to make her co-worker understand what I'm saying. Like if the lady with short hair with glasses wanted to tell my family to be quiet at night, just come to our door and tell us rather than holding me prisoner and making it uncomfortable for the other customers. It's not always my family that's loud at night because my family would be asleep at 2-3 A.M. The employees and workers will always give my mom strange looks and always talk bad about her and as her son I can't do anything about it but to tell my mom to ignore them and do our own thing. The lesson here is that I should've said "I have the right to remain silent, unless you have a lawyer." And that nobody should shop there at ALL. To make them go out of business just don't shop there and see them suffer and learn their lesson.

Horrible customer service. The cashiers are rude and mean. Vinh Phat store receipts don’t specify the name of items, just a generic name like “produce” and “meat”. How can you tell which item you are being charged for? Is it beef or fish? Is it tomatoes or ginger? This lack of specificity allows store to over charge more than the items are advertised for. There has been several occasions when we were charged for more items that what we have in the bags. For example, today the store receipt we have show we were being charged for 31 items for $107, but we counted only 22 items in the bag.
