Vi Nails

Went for a gel manicure. The “receptionist” asked me what I wanted. I mentioned that I broke a nail or two so I may need to get them evened out and get gel polish again. She didn’t seem to understand and just kept telling me that I pick my color. I picked a pink color but once she did a test swatch; I decided on white instead. Fast forward to her painting my nails. As the polish went in areas of my cuticles and etc she was struggling getting it off. Once my polish was finished they looked HORRIBLE! Large bubbles in the polish misshapen and over all not an attractive job. She asked if I looks them and I told her they looked bad. She went about grinding it off my nails thinning my nail beds. She told me she would only charge me $19. I said ok in hopes that it was the polish that cause the issue. I gave her a $100 and a different hostess brought back $19 as my change. After hearing them go back and forth I mentioned that I should have $81 back. Another nail tech approached yelling loudly and gave me the rest of my change. I gave the tech a $5 for the effort and left with horribly mangled looking and sore fingers. I went home and trimmed my nails down as they were so thin they would have ripped any how. Now , I’m waiting for my nails to grow out and strengthen before I even think about doing my nails. At this point I won’t go back and will be doing my own nails from here on out.

I have gone here regularly for about two years. The main reason is because it’s close to my house and I can walk there. I typically get gel manicures. However, the past several times I’ve gone, the nail technician has blobbed the nail polish onto my cuticles. After less than a week, this area (the top part) on most of my nails starts to catch and peel and look awful. The gel manicure is supposed to last at least 2 weeks, possibly three. The picture you see is from after one week. I’m going to find a new nail salon, even though it means I’ll have to drive there.

I’ve never had a worse nail salon experience. I went in for a full set of nude acrylics with a simple design. In the process of getting the acrylics the nail technician was so rough with my cuticules and finger beds that I ended up bleeding three different times. After the initial nails were done being shaped, I had to ask for several to be fixed because they were skewed at extreme angles. While the rest were passable, none were near the quality I expected from a nail salon with such good reviews. When we got to the end, the tech had completely forgotten the pattern I had asked for, and when I reminded her, it was clear she was not happy about having to do more work. The art was OK at best when she finished… I would show you pictures, however as soon as she finished the pattern coat, she slapped top coat on my nails, causing the entire pattern to bleed all over and turn into a tye-dye mess. So we started over. More blood. More rough handling. An hour and a half later I was charged $50 for a terrible set of nails. I will never step foot into this nail salon again.

Lady made me cry. I asked her to shorten my nails and she got mad, then she made them crooked. I asked her to straighten them and she got mad at me and told me no one looks at my nails that close. She fought me on everything and it gave me such bad anxiety. I got up to leave and pay in the middle of it because I couldn't take it anymore. She started yelling at me and I cried. Her sweet daughter let me leave though, so I appreciate that.

The owner and some of the workers are very rude, sarcastic, and share unwanted comments about things that have nothing to do with your nails. On numerous occasions I have been rushed to pick a color, told to wait for over 30 minutes during my appointment time, pushed to the side for other clients to go ahead of me, physically handled roughly, and I have been spoken to by the owner in a way that caused me to feel horrible. No one deserves this kind of treatment, especially a good, kind, and paying customer. I do not recommend giving this place your business. I never will again!
