BEST hotel experience! The Whiskey Room was perfect for our bachelorette weekend, we absolutely loved everything about it. The staff made our no-contact check in very easy, we had no trouble getting our key and finding our room. The bunk beds were so fun and insanely comfortable. You can tell that a lot of consideration went into every detail of the room - especially with choosing linens and towels, they're SO soft and comfy. The full size fridge made things so convenient for us since we brought a lot of our own drinks since the bar isn't open just yet. The rooftop patio was our favorite spot to sip our Bongo coffee in the mornings and our wine in the evenings, and we loved having our own little balcony just to ourselves. I literally cannot think of a single complaint about this place besides having to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs to get to our room- but even so, it's worth it!! We will 100% be back to Vandyke - we can't wait to try out the other rooms and experience the bar once it opens back up! Do not wait any longer - seriously. Book this place!

Disclaimer: We made three crucial mistakes: 1. We stayed on a Sunday night 2. We got there at 8p and everything was closed. 3. We assumed customer service / assistance would be similar to hotels with more robust staffs For the price of the space we stayed, we probably should have planned better. We get there and the room is beautiful. The pictures are accurate. We loved the aesthetic. Once everything is closed down for the night, (we arrived around 8:15p, snow storm week before messed up our work schedules and storm night of had us scrambled) you are on your own. We called and emailed that night with questions, no one picked up, and we didn’t receive an email until 10:15a the next day. This was a bummer given the price. The room is gorgeous. The environment, I’m assuming, is awesome. But if you are arriving expecting anywhere the customer service of a more established hotel, that will most likely be hit and miss depending on time of day. All in all, I think this hotel is amazing if you know what to expect. We didn’t know what to expect, so we are partially to blame here.

Wife and I stayed in the whiskey room. It was incredibly spacious, had super cool decor, and just a great fresh place to stay. It's our first boutique hotel and I have to admit, it's so much better than chain hotels. Balconies, roof top lounges, just plenty of places to rest and enjoy the outdoors. We loved it. Just know there are no elevators so be ready for stairs especially if you are on floor 3.

Underwhelming. The room felt bare and unintentional. Zero thoughtful touches. They were out of conditioner in the shower. The water pressure was terrible. There were cob webs all over the walls. The staff was unaccommodating. We stayed here for our anniversary and there was zero effort put forth to make us feel special at all. We visited several places in Nashville over our stay and each place was so sweet about our anniversary offering complimentary drinks and sweet comments. When booking a boutique hotel you’d hope the staff would go above and beyond and this was not the case. Bare minimum effort given by every staff member and the cleaning crew. This place is not worth the price. I’m a local east Nashville resident and I will be steering all of my friends away from this property. What a shame. I am only giving 2 stars instead of one because the location is great. Y’all need to up your game. A few tips: buy enough robes for all of your rooms, put in a clock and a way to listen to music, advise your cleaning staff to make sure all toiletries are refilled (this is very basic hotel etiquette 101), encourage your staff to put the customer first and ask “how can we make this right or make your stay more comfortable”.

My husband and I stayed in the champagne suite on our wedding night here and loved this room! Incredibly spacious and we loved having our coffee and breakfast out on the patio in the morning. Our coffee pot didn’t work so we just grabbed coffee next door. There’s no staff in the evenings and earlier mornings so just note that going into your stay! Self check in was super easy!
