Love taking the kids here to explore the trails and we even went sledding in the winter...Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful.

Off the beaten path but well worth it

A wonderful place to walk, have a picnic, or sit and hear the sounds of nature!

Not water but very fun to hike around.

There are some picnicking facilities; tables, grills, restrooms for visitors use. I have fished on both sides of the dam. There is a moderate-size parking lot on the spillway end of the dam which is practically empty every time I've visited. The bush in this area is thick and not user friendly. It is a scenic area, quiet and peaceful and a nice place to execise your pets. Kids need to be watched carefully around the dam for there are some danger areas; the water intake when the water level is low, the outflow, the rock-strewn slope on the reservoir side of the damn.
