TJ Filipino Cuisine

This was our first time trying Filipino food. Stopped by on 1/28/25 at lunch hour, and it was a great experience. The hostess gave us a warm welcome in and showed us around. The food was hot, delicious, and fresh! Very clean and relaxing environment with friendly staff. Perfect layout of the dining tables. I was able to push a toddler's jogging stroller through the dining and buffet area with ease; spacious, not overly crowded. I really enjoyed the live music; the young lady had such a beautiful voice. The volume wasn't overwhelming like some live music places I've gone to. It was absolutely perfect! She was very friendly and she's very talented. I will definitely be back!

The food was delicious atmosphere was nice The ladies that work there were very nice also. This location is in pearland and we had a 29 mile trip to get there but worth the drive.

Stopped by at 1 PM, buffet had a good crowd but no wait. Service was quick, and the food (16+ hot options) was tasty and filling. For dessert, I ordered the Halo Halo to-go. At $7, it was small and pretty bland, with weak flavors and skimpy toppings. **Verdict:** Buffet = worth it. Halo Halo = skip.

I was leaving the VA this morning and thought , I need something hot to warm me up. So what better place than TJ Filipino . This is a family owned restaurant. So it’s like eating a Grandma home cooked meal. All the dishes are so delicious. My favorite was the curry chicken. The lumpia was amazing. I definitely will be coming back for more.

If you like Filipino food, this food is AUTHENTIC tastes just like my mother in law’s cooking. Highly recommend this food you will be very pleased. The owner also sings karaoke sometimes and he’s got a GREAT voice singing some of the best classic songs. Price is super reasonable especially for the quality of the food. The buffet was always fresh and full. Very great experience here
