The Y Cafe

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let me start off with upon arrival at 11:00 am there were 2 customers in the entire restaurant. Left at 12:45 I order 2 eggs with country ham and a side of bacon it took: 1) 10 minutes standing at the “Please wait to be seated”, sign. Only to be told seat yourself. 2) 20 minutes before the waitress whose name just happened to be “Memory” took my order. Memory never returned to the table to check drinks ( Hot Tea, no additional hot water) or anything. 3)45 minutes to get the order. 4) 20 minutes for a to go container (took the super greasy bacon placed in the container and left it on the table) I didn't mind the wait but the food was greasy! If your customer service is Horrible at least have good food!

Small hometown dinner feel. Great service and friendly servers. All the food is great but their breakfast is amazing. Huge parking lot with easy entrances.

I would put 3 stars. However, the service is very positive and patience and friendly! That's pulled a star up. Food- I order fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes and fried okra. With the dinner salad. Chicken is good! The breaded that covers chicken are overcooked. Okras are good but the breaded. Also, I get the less okras than it should be. Dinner salad- too much cheese and cherry tomatoes seem taste bad. It looks really long time to cook food. I'm expecting chicken to be long but they took way longer than that. The place is not organized, broken tvs, the "please wait to be seat" sign is in the middle blocking the way. This is conjointly with gas station but the restrooms are over in cafe.

My partner and I absolutely LOVED this place! It was our first time and the waitress was amazing! She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us while deciding what to order. It was busy but Chera took care of everyone! Her customer service is phenomenal and she made us feel welcomed! The hush puppies are THE BEST; they may be small but the flavor is too good! We will definitely be back and we recommend for sure!

I work their and been their for almost 6 years when Brent owned the play everything went so smoothly tvs working everyone got to watch the football games and enjoyed now we got new people running the place don't really know what they are doing. And I read a review that I agree with tvs not working I can explain why they don't work I can explain a lot of reasons why stuff ain't working shoot anyone that works for any Chisholm corner can tell you why.
