The Thai Pan Restaurant

Wow!!! I’ve been trying to find my go-to Thai spot in the area, and after months of searching and lots of subpar Thai food eaten, I’ve FINALLY found it!! I was already excited to try it just by looking at photos and reviews. I tried calling to order takeout last Friday around 5:30, but it was over an hour wait! So today I called shortly after they opened and my food was ready in 15 minutes. I got the spicy basil fried rice and I was impressed even before trying it. It was so heavy! (Yes, I had to weigh it at home on my food scale, and it was nearly 2 pounds.) When I tried it, I was blown away. This is what I have been looking for! The flavors are amazing, the rice is perfect, the meat is plentiful. There are also so many vegetables in the fried rice, which I really appreciate. I got it mild (sometimes you never know if medium will be too spicy) and couldn’t really taste any spice, so I’ll know in the future to get the next step up. But it was all so, so good. I will definitely be back here many times!

The BEST pad Thai I have ever had, by far (and I have eaten at MANY Thai restaurants over the years!). The Green Curry is also excellent, as is the cashew nut stir fry. If you’re anywhere near Leesburg, you must check this out (and get gas while you’re at it)!

A great Thai restaurant. Was very authentic and tasty and flavorful. The Thai Basil duck and the papaya salad were phenomenal. Highly recommend.

I’ve dined in and ordered out here at Thai Pan for 10+ yrs. I used to love it but lately; I’ve been really disappointed - especially w/ the Lava Chicken… the chicken (or lack there of) is so heavily breaded!!! It’s like eating white rice and fried dough. Not to mention that the recipe includes cabbage- where’s the cabbage?! Inflation is unfortunate, but they’ve got to do better considering they’ve increased their prices; significantly. ????

The food was excellent!! The fried rice , the Pad Thai , the Crying Tiger Beef was a surprise and the best dish we tried !!
