The Smoking Trout

One of our go-to brunch spots is The Smoking Trout in Marlborough, NH, when driving back to MA and as always on point. Our waitress Nessa took good care of us. The cocktails were spot on. Then the food arrived, hats off to the chef and crew. Both of our meals were super fresh and tasty, and my omlette was so fluffy! Great services, portions, and prices.

Best food in the area!! Everything we ordered came out hot and delicious. The quality of food is something to look forward to as well as the friendly staff! This is my new favorite place to eat at!

Nice restaurant casual enough to sit at bar and eat a burger. Nice enough to bring extended family or a date. Staff friendly and professional.

First time eating here, and the wife and our son enjoyed the food. I, on the other hand, was not impressed. Appetizers were decent, but I ordered the New Hampshire hot chicken and waffles. It came as a sandwich. I thought that was a little strange. Don't think sandwich when it comes to chicken and waffles. It had cheese and coleslaw on it. I took it apart and tried the chicken itself kinda bland, and the home fries were mushy and needed salt. The waffle on the bottom that had only syrup on it was pretty good. I'm unsure if I will return to try something different

We went for dinner today. We had biscuits, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, and a hamburger. Everything was on point! Delicious food and nice presentation too. Service was impeccable. It was our first time but certainly not the last. Happy to have found it not too far from home.
