"I love going to the Rumor Mill Cafe', everyone is very welcoming & nice. They are ready the minute I pull up. The food is Great, Good Coffee too! Really Recommend to check it out, especially if you're just passing through; you won't regret it. Plus, you will definitely get your money's worth & have a full belly; with no regrets or rip off. Better than going to a fast food, with high prices & be hungry a half an hour later. Seriously, check it out!"

The people here ignored me and my girlfriend. They only ever came to ask about food in drinks no casual conversation like everyone else gets. Both of us ordered a Big Rumor. Bacon was almost raw, hard sausage patty, raw eggs only thing cooked was pretty much the edge of the eggs, hard potatoes. I ordered Over medium eggs. Plus the stares we received. I don’t even want to pay for my meal, I didn’t eat anything besides the premade pancakes. We shouldn’t have to pay $26 just for people to be biased.

Ask for a breakfast sandwich you can get it thru the drive thru! Coffee to go is a must. Sit inside and enjoy the local atmosphere!

Best biscuits and gravy in town. Also the only place my girlfriend is satisfied with the French toast and they have different specials everyday. Its a fairly small building so not perfect for really big groups but the food always come out fast.

Very local spot where locals hang & the owner serves up hospitality & a mighty fine experience! Sure to find your cup of coffee tipped off every little bit to keep it hot & you chattering with energy. Now for the food: Best Sausage gravy & Biscuits in the land I have found! Visiting Defiance I find great pleasure in scoping out spots that bring me great satisfaction & joy on the table to share. If you ever crave what this plate pictured, there is 2 options. Big Rumor or Little Rumor. No disappointment!
