Classic greasy spoon. Had the chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and English muffin. Everything was good. Food came quickly. Staff was friendly. Lots of cool old pictures on the walls.
Really sumptuous menu with a lot of options for both veg and non-veg. Their serving size is pretty good as well. To top it all the service by Angie was to the mark. Day:2 Had to edit my review to include and even better experience to with our server Linda. The staff at the cafe is really welcoming and friendly. The preparation was as good as day1.
The place was amazing. The food didn't have a long wait, it tasted great. They had large portions and it had beautiful atmosphere. As someone who plays a lot of fallout, the whole thing was beautiful and really charming. I got a build your own omelet and had cheddar, ham, and bacon. And it came out great, it was really balanced and warm. The side of hash browns was okay, but the pancakes I got as a side were amazing! Fluffy and giant, they worked really well. We also got an avocado toast that tasted amazing, had a lot of avocado that we first thought it was a salad!
This is my go to breakfast stop in town! The food here is wonderful, the portions are big and the service is super friendly and fast. Come here more than once and you're pretty much a local. While it is the same Red Hut which the same diner charm and feel as the ones you can find up in Tahoe and Reno (and I've been to them all), this is without question my favorite. Typically, my wife will get a waffle combo and with their amazing bacon that's always cooked perfect and I typically get their Rosti or chicken fried steak and they're so good, I always have a hard time choosing which one to get. Of course, they do have daily specials and if I'm here on a Tuesday, the eggs benedict is outstanding and if I'm here on a Thursday, the corned beef hash cooked with a crispy shell and eggs over medium served with tomato slices is to die for. If you do this, I would highly recommend it with english muffins and eat it all together as an open face sandwich. Of course, lunches here a great too and their burgers are delicious. If you pay with cash and you'll get a discount. I should note that it can get pretty busy on the weekends especially on a Sunday after the crowds get out of church so plan accordingly. If you're a big group, there is a room in the back that can accommodate you as well.
Went for breakfast hoping to enjoy a diner type meal. What we got was a rushed feeling when we weren't ready to order. When we did get our food it was nothing special. Corned beef hash was undercooked. The hashbrowns average. But the topper was the "DIY" avocado toast. Now I understand that this is a California thing but you would expect this place to know how to serve it. There were 4 pieces of bread with avocado and tomatoes sprinkled in the middle?? We won't be coming back.
