The Original Henry's

First of all, I hate to do this but honestly the food has gone downhill for a bit. I ordered the Madelyn and when it hit the table my jaw literally hit the floor. What was supposed to be an 8 ounce ribeye turned out to be a thin piece of meat that looked like it came from an old dairy cow. It was about 3/16 of an inch thick. Why did the waitress ask how I wanted it cooked? With that thickness it's done or it's raw. Needless to say Old Henry is rolling over in his grave. He would never let this in his kitchen!!!!

Henry's is a great place to go and relax. We enjoy sitting at the bar with the best bartender in town, Gary. He is fantastic. A few friends and I even spent our birthdays there because we knew Gary would make it awesome for us. If you're looking for a San Angelo local place to get some good food in a nice atmosphere, go to Henry's.

We were Henry's for a surprise 80th birthday party. We had a delightful time and we enjoyed the food and the service was great.

I was very impressed with a young lady named Erica. She was very pro active and I didn’t have to ask her to do anything because she would beat me to the punch. Never had to ask for refill or anything. She was very nice and made my visit very worth my while. She will be the direct reason why I will come back to the restaurant and I will definitely ask to be sat in her section.

This was my first time here and I WILL return again! Our waitress was talkative and quick! She recommended I get the Tristan "a la mexicana" because I was undecided. It ended up being one of the best steaks I've had! This one is the picture with the grilled veggies on top of the steak. The other picture are what my son and his friend ordered.
