The New Queen Victoria

First time going here, friends invited us out to join them on their regular Sunday night out and we were pleasantly surprised! The Queen Victoria is a really well maintained establishment, bar one side, restaurant on the other side and a garden area. Sunday night there are 2 DJ's, 1 in the bar area and the other in the garden. Banging, feel good music, African beats that make you want to dance where you're stood!! Food - well that was amazing, well cooked, really well presented and definitely full of flavour and most importantly, it is fresh. 5*'s for the food, ordered the Mutton and Potato Curry with rice, came with a side of salad and a side of spicy Carrot and ordered some fries. Well worth the money, brought to the table hot, looked good, tasted amazing and would 100% recommend you eat here. Our friends ate the Soup of the Day and couldn't stop talking about how nice it was, the menu has some amazing choices on it and being an African restaurant, the opportunity to try some exotic steaks is on the cards for next, choice of steak from Zebra, Crocodile and Ostrich to mention a few. Reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. We will definitely be back here at some point to eat again!!! Thanks to the staff for their service this evening!!

Good locals bar, nice pint of Guinness and Sky Sports.

I always enjoy the time I spend here. Fridays karaoke and Saturday night vibes are the best. Well recommend the Queen V

The Friday night dj is awesome... the best I have heard. Can't believe he can play such a varied mix of music and can keep them in. His karaoke is so much fun too. Great pub great atmosphere... highly recommended.
