The Lamplighter

For the last two first Saturdays in may our middle school electronics (amateur radio) club has flown a high altitude balloon that landed near Sebewaing. The morning of the flights I called The Lamplighter to see if they could handle a group of 40 around 2:00 pm. Both times they were happy to accommodate us. They called in extra help. The food was very good, the service was great. The wait staff was very positive and helpful. And even with that many folks showing up all at once plus other patrons in the restaurant, the wait for food was not very long. Thanks for accommodating us.

This place was great. The food was amazing. Priced reasonably. Service was fantastic. The restaurant is neat and clean. Couldn't get anymore friendly and at home than this.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I will definitely come back. It wasn't cheap but it wasn't much more than I spend at fast food. Worth the money.

Clean out-of-the-way place. We are a family of 6 with young kids. I found the staff friendly and the place clean. The southern omelette was fantastic. It was big, tasty and very filling. I cant recommend the biscuit—at least the one I had, as it was hard and dry. The toast and the hash-browns were good. I think both were house made. The kids ate all their food which is unusual and asked for more. We are headed back tonight for the stromboli.
