We had a wonderful extended family meal here. Everyone was happy with their food. People raved about the pork shank meal. I enjoyed the lamb shank. Others enjoyed Caesar salad with chicken, steak tips, scallops, and fried haddock. Our only complaint would be slow service. It wasn't the waitress's fault, she was working alone with the bartender helping. It actually gave us more time to enjoy the company.

A pleasant neighborhood-style restaurant with delicious homemade tasting food served with a big smile. The portions were great and prices were fair. We will be going back again and trying some of the other terrific sounding dishes on the menu.

The Hampstead House has been a family favorite since day one! If you have not enjoyed the home-made deliciousness that arrives hot to your table from this great local establishment, I recommend dining with them. Their menu has something for everyone to enjoy, and you will be back. I fell in love with the Braised Lamb Shank at first bite, and I am unable to tell you how many of them I have enjoyed over the years. If you love Baked Haddock, order it. It is the best in the area!! Support local business and go have a wonderful meal with them. I hope they are open for many years to come.
