China Star

we decided to grab some china star because we hadn’t had it in awhile. We get home and i begin to eat when i discover a piece of shrimp inside my egg roll. Most people who aren’t highly allergic would be thrilled but for me not so much. i called and the lady didn’t seem to really care she did not apologize she simply expressed all egg rolls have shrimp. I opened up my second egg roll to find NO SHRIMP. so my advice if you are allergic to seafood and love life i wouldn’t go there just head across the street to panda express below are the pictures of the two egg rolls

The greatness of this place and the people working here go hand in hand. I am not one to rate takeout style chinese places as any special over the other ones but this one was really good..prices were great for the weekend where everything else is 15 to 20 dollars especially going by buffet cost at least. I had Shrimp and Lobster sauce and the container came full. There was so much it was overflowing and they placed extra plastic in it to control it. I watched the guy cook and he puts on a show. The wife was nice as well and I saw her talking to customers about their lives more than I have in many takeout spots. There was one other restaurant I seen it where the food was kind of close to this. They make Lobster Sauce here great, will have to come back real soon for the Egg foo young and I hear the Chow mein is awesome. And kudos to the fortunes I just happened to get lucky to receive.

When you walk in and see the faded picture menu, it’s just a couple doing everything behind the counter, you just know it’s going to slap! Best Chinese downriver! I do recommend calling ahead of time, as I said it is just an older couple doing everything, and they get busy. Worth every minute of the wait!

This was the absolute best Chinese we have had!! I could not believe we have lived in Riverview for nearly 8 years yet just now tried it! A lot of the places around us skimp on portions or have terrible food. But China Star excelled on both. We ordered two meals and one app. There was enough to feed 8 people! So far, this is the BEST crab ragoon, sweet n sour chicken, and chicken chow mein we have ever tasted. The egg rolls and fried rice were great too. This is our new go to Chinese food stop!

Absolutely the best Chinese food downriver.. Yum. Belle Fountain decided to get us some real Chinese food and it was fantastic like always.. Yum been going there forever..
