I love this place for so many reasons; the outside design, hence the name, "The Danish Mill," the pastries and sandwiches are tasty and a great value (definitely a great place to get a quick bite and very affordable), and the service is always good. My only gripe is that, while cozy, the small interior does get cramped when it gets busy. But then again, we are inside of what is supposed to be a windmill, which isn't roomy to begin with. But maybe that's what they were going for; authenticity. Either way, check it out! It's well worth it!
Great people, great food, love their recently updated back patio. They have also recently done renovations inside. Prompt, polite service, extremely clean, and carries boarhead meats and cheeses that you can even purchase deli style. Nice little sandwich shop on the island. Always one of my first stops.
Wonderful breakfast sandwiches, very nice people!
Has the Pesto Grilled Cheese and Split Pea soup. Everything was made fresh (even the bread) and was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely visit again!
we usually love the treats here, but yesterday the yummy date bars we picked up for the ferry ride had bits of metal embedded in them....might be time to investigate the integrity of the cleaning brushes or racks, because several kinky metal fibers in the food made it a serious hazard for consumption.
