The Corner Cafe

We were hoping for breakfast but just missed it. I didn't like the chicken melt. Ended up not eating it. He hamburger a guest ate was not that great. I've had better cake at a diner for less. I hate better expectations, but they were not met. Inside is kid tight but still comfy

The food was maybe a little better than OK. Patty melts shouldn't be orange American cheese on white bread, but they're happy to make the substitution. The fries were soggy, but real potatoes, the onion rings were frozen, but fine. All in all, I'd maybe go in to try other menu items; I wouldn't avoid the place, but I wouldn't make the 30 minute trip just to eat there either. The service was good--very friendly, and everything came out in a timely manner. We didn't have dessert, but the dessert case looked pretty good. I might drive to try that.

We get takeout 2-3 times a month because the food is really delicious but probably once a month they miss part of the order even after repeating back the order on the phone. Part of the blame is on me because I know this but I also don’t want to belittle the workers and hold the line up 10 minutes to check each individual item. But they do have a sign up saying they can’t do anything if you leave and don’t check so obviously it happens a lot. 6 people hanging around the counter and they can’t get 3 meals correct?All of this to say, check your orders if picking up.

It was my first time at Corner Cafe. Every single thing was definitely delicious. They will surely be seeing me again.

Everything is top notch here. Great restaurant. I would pay cash because they charge a fee to use credit cards. It is posted on the door, but that is the only bad thing about the place, and I get it, I just bring cash when I go there.
