Texas Kountry Kitchen

We’ve eaten several different items from the menu and nothing has disappointed. Very reasonable prices as well as service. Today we had steak finger basket and burgers. Highly recommended!

Just happened to be near Dayton for work and found Kountry Kitchen on the interweb. Checked it out and got a great meal. Chicken fried steak was awesome and my wife couldn't quit raving about her cheeseburger. Onion rings were REALLY good too. Next time I'm in Dayton I WILL go back.

10 minutes to get our drink order. 10 more minutes to get our food order. 30 more minutes before I was offered a coffee refill, which never came. We were there for an hour (1135-1235, not exaggerating), waiting for two breakfast plates. We watched several tables get their food, eat and leave. We asked to pay for our drinks and leave, and were told that our food was ready, so not sure what we were waiting on. I will give them that they were busy when we walked in and that the waitress was very apologetic and offered to let us take the food to go. We did not, so there no review on the food itself.

Nice little mom and pop kinda place outstanding food and good service. You had better be starving if you order the steak finger basket.

We love checking out small hometown restaurants that have history. This cute restaurant has a 50's milkshake/restaurant vibe with it's round barstools and sign above the register that had prices of food and drinks for 0.25-0.50 each. Such a neat place with traditional breakfast items and comfort lunch foods.
