Taste of Reggae

I just got the large curry goat with mac and cheese, rice and peas, and a side of coca bread. By FAR one of the best meals I have EVER had! Seasoned perfectly, moist but not mushy. I've read some negative reviews about the meat having bones, or too much fat. They honestly made me laugh. Bones let ya know it's real homemade food, and fat adds flavor. My goat had both, and a TON of meat. You could tell the sides were homemade, and the rice was cooked perfectly too. The service was outstanding! Greeted with a smile, made sure I could see i was getting what i ordered to make sure i was happy with what i got. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews who don't know what great food is! Definitely going back again!

This place is amazing! The food tastes so fresh and authentic, it honestly reminded me of being in Jamaica. The jerk chicken had the perfect kick, the curry goat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the rice and peas with plantains tied it all together. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home, and the vibe inside is warm and welcoming. Portions are generous, prices are fair. Definitely my new go-to spot for Jamaican food — can’t wait to go back!

Loved the food, had the ox tail and it was plentiful just wish there would have been more "stew" in the bottom lol the strawberry cake is tasty...will definitely be back!

I have eaten 3 times in 8 years. It would have been more often. Unfortunately, this will be my last time. The taste of the food is great. My problem is bones and bone fragments. These bones were from a Pull Jerk Chicken Coco Bread sub. See picture: These are the big bones, there were about 10 other extremely sharp bone fragments and slivers. Just what you want to do is take a big bite of sub into small little bones. Honestly it is worse than eating a boney fish. Never Again!!!

This was my first time in. The owner greeted me and reviewed the menu with me. While waiting for my food, the owner asked if i wanted to sample something else on the menu. I tried the oxtail and it was seasoned perfectly, what a treat. My order of curry chicken with rice & beans was on point. The lunch portion I ordered was a good size, even enough for me save some for my wife to sample. All the flavors reminded me of my visit to Jamaica. The seasoning was good but not salty at all. I also appreciate the extra effort of wrapping the container in plastic wrap so all my juices stayed inside.
