Tacos la bonita

Mobile taco shop that has set up shop in downtown, and is a great spot for tacos. While the quesobirria tacos weren’t the greatest I’ve ever had, they were delicious. I really enjoyed the carne asada tortas, as well as the chile relleno and pastor tacos. The customer service was friendly, the salsa bar was clean, and there was plenty of seating for dining there. Definitely will go back.

POV from a first time customer experience I parked in the back and could not locate where to order. At the time there were NO customers. There is a stand with flowers and a spike with ticket orders, but no one was there so I thought, maybe that's for dine in? Then there are windows around the building, so I walk up the ramp and the windows are closed except for one. Then and employee comes out and I ask, "donde ordeno?" and she says "alli afuera"...Super confused cause I am outside already. Finally, I figured out that you order by the sidewalk in front of C St, there is another stand with chips on top. The lady taking my order seemed annoyed and there are no prices on the menu items. I ordered 4 tacos de cabeza y una quesadilla con carne asada. $26 for that! This was own fault as there are no prices on the menu items and I feel like its such an uncomfortable question to ask, "cuanto cuesta cada taco?" They were going to charge me $1 for debit card use so I paid in cash. The tortilla were good but the meat tasted recalentada. Usually cabeza is soft but there were hard pieces like it was reheated with a little bit of oil. I wouldn't come back here.

Love the food there, but today a customer place the salsa spoon back in the salsa after she put her finger inside to taste it ???????? I made a complaint to a young worker bringing out the food and he didn't care at all that the salsa is contaminated what the lady did. I had to tell the cashier in front of all the customer's that isn't right for not taking out the contaminated salsa and she took it, but don't know if they replaced it. I told her customer's are going to get sick what the customer did. They need to move the salsa bar which the worker's can see it! This happened today at 12:00 p.m. 2-25-2024

Thus location doesn't offer chips to go that's 1 thing I didn't like about it and I was shocked by an employee to see if I was going to take any chips that was for guests who eat at the location and I didn't think that wslas fair. Prices are high just like anything at this point I do have to say the food is good for what you pay for but why couldn't they offer me chips with my high bill that was something simple ask anywho .

Sooooo Goood!! I came here after donating blood around the corner on a recommendation from one of the Red Cross volunteers, THANKS JOE! The menu looked amazing and the food was even better! I even brought my little man, Mr. Poppy along for lunch, and the staff brought him his very own steak taco! THANKS LADIES! I had the combination with Carnitas and it all tasted as if if was homemade from grandma’s kitchen. The carnitas were flavorful and smelled of citrus and spice. AND no huge hunks of fat, all tender, so yummy. The beans were definitely made from scratch and the rice was just right. And the handmade corn tortillas….hot and fresh…amazing! I’ll be back with Mr. Poppy and we’ll bring more friends, very soon!!
