Tacos El Canelo

Practically all the food is good,never had any that i did not like,i used to work near by for 20 years and occasionally went to eat there so today i went taking advantage that i was in the area,wasn't disappointed it is still good

Saw this Mexican restaurant and wanted to try it out during lunch. Not crowded inside, plenty of space to sit. Wednesday afternoon Dodger game was on TV and I was able to enjoy my food while watching the game. Drink fridge is fully stocked with different choices of beer and soft drinks. I order the 3 taco combo, two asada and one pastor tacos served with beans and rice. Taco meat was tender and not chewy, delicious corn tortillas. Tortillas not homemade but warmed up well and tasty. Salsa bar had a great selection. I asked for their spiciest salsa and was directed towards a tangy avocado salsa. I feel my palate can tolerate heat and the spiciest salsa here registers as “medium” for me. Would come back to try their large menu. Menudo seems available all the time. Parking lot is small but nothing out of the ordinary for this part of the Valley. Friendly staff.

The slightly higher price point reflects the quality of these ingredients- so delicious, so quality, so flavorful! Plus the staff is genuinely nice and happy about your business. 5 plus stars.

Service was welcoming. Food was fresh and made with pride. Guacamole was made to order. Need to come back to try the fish taco. Father and son run business family owned and run for 23 years.

Came in on a rainy morning and craving menudo. 1st time here and very impressed with everything. The menudo was delicious and fresh, we ate the entire bowl. Large portions and tortillas are made from hand. Service was top notch and Nathaniel greeted us with a smile. We will definitely return
