Taco Mama - Hillsboro Village

Amazing food……wasn’t expecting it to be that good, honestly. 8 people on this visit and all were happy, especially with the margaritas!! Not sure what else to say……uncommon for me!

I LOVE taco mama. I come here often and the food comes out so fast and is always good. It’s great for a casual dinner. Unfortunately, this Saturday night I came and waited in line for 25 minutes as they were training someone on the register. Very disappointed by this.

Oh my goodness this place was delicious! The line was out the door when we arrived, but once we ordered at the counter our food was ready within minutes. The build your own burrito bowls were delicious and the free toppings were a game changer! The queso and spicy margaritas were also amazing! The atmosphere inside is super fun, but definitely darker lighting and relatively loud. We sat outside though and it was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MEXICAN PLACE! I love everything about this place! It's casual but not dirty and gross. The staff is always super friendly. The service is very good even when they are busy. But most of all, the food is delicious! You can tell a good Mexican place by its queso and the queso here is fantastic! It is white queso that is not too runny or too thick. People always pour it on everything. I also love that you can put as many toppings as you want on your tacos or in your burrito at no extra charge. Nice! And they have the most toppings I have ever seen. Cilantro rice as a topping?! Seriously. It is also awesome that you can get margaritas by the pitcher. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. We will drive over 30 minutes to come here. In fact, writing this review makes me want to go back now. Parking is also not bad, which is a plus. We had steak tacos and the ground beef quaesadila. We got pico and grilled jalapenos on the tacos which was nice. The tacos came with a side which we picked as the cilantro lime rice. It was very good. The included chips and salsa were good too - nice, simple salsa. The quaesadilia was stuffed full of delicious filling. The accompanying chipotle ranch was amazing. It paired perfectly with the quaesadilia. It was packed on a Friday night, but we got a seat quick.
