The guy at the front counter is so welcoming makes you want to buy everything inside the store. They are some wonderful people with great pastries. Every time I come here, I buy so much pastry. I cannot stop myself and it is very delicious.

Hidden gem inside JiHAN International Market! I found this delicious eatery in the most unexpected place—inside JiHAN International Market—and it is absolutely worth seeking out. Last week I had the shawarma sandwich, and today I tried the chicken kabob sandwich. Everything is made fresh, including the bread, and you can truly taste the difference. “Delicious” doesn’t even begin to cover it. The prices are unbelievable for the quality and portion sizes. My chicken kabob sandwich, even after tipping, came to less than $10. That’s almost unheard of for food this good. And do not skip the lentil soup—wow. It’s a must-try. I will definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu!

I was incredibly impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the owner when I visited the store. They offer a wide variety of imported foods, sourced from various stores in Detroit. One must not miss out on trying their delicious baklava, OMGosh it’s to die for!!! It is truly a treat for the taste buds. The hot foods, specifically the meat and rice dishes, are both flavorful and freshly prepared. Additionally, their bakery bread is made fresh daily, adding an extra level of quality to their offerings. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!
