Sun City Family Restaurant

This classic diner is located on Cherry Hills Blvd. & Bradley Rd. in the Sun City Shopping Center, towards the back near Stater Bros with plenty of parking. Open daily from 7:30 AM - 2 PM. We visited this morning with Mom for coffee and breakfast. We were seated immediately by a welcoming and friendly hostess. I can see why this diner is winner of the "Best Senior Dining" award. I ordered their 'French Toast Breakfast' which was very satisfying. I liked the taste of their freshly brewed coffee. Food portions are on the smaller side, yet enough with prices that remain very affordable. Fast, efficient, and friendly service. Overall, we had a good breakfast experience here.

A hidden breakfast gem that gets your day started with a bang! This place is hidden in a small shopping center, and it’s easy to miss. Stumbled upon this place when we were at the bank and decided to give it a try. It’s quaint atmosphere is a pleasant and old style layout of a traditional breakfast diner that I haven’t seen in years. We got some coffee to start out our morning, which was served piping hot, the way it should be. We ordered the eggs benedict and the Denver omelet, which did not disappoint. Delicious food that may sit a little heavy for some, but it was just right for us. Adjustable sides for each plate is a great feature for some variety. The service was perfect, always there when out or coffee and whenever you needed something. The prices are pretty good with portions, and we will definitely be coming back here again. Our new regular breakfast hang out!

My family of 4 went to eat at Sun City Family Restaurant today (16-March). We were greeted by friendly staff and were sat immediately. However as we were looking at the menus we noticed two far pieces of rat droppings right in our booth next to our heads. We informed the staff and decided not to eat there. We still had to pay the $15 for a couple apple juices and coffee which we did not take with us nor barely touched.

Great family owned restaurant has been in business 33 years. Locals coming and going with friendly happy staff calling each by name. I had the Eggs Benedict which they recommended was fresh and tasty. The owner Maya checked on me and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend!

Nice little old-school diner. The food was very good. The breakfast foods felt like small portions, but that's probably because it's the right size compared to the unhealthy portions at other restaurants. Even though it felt small, I felt very full when I left. The service was very nice and friendly. It has a small-town diner vibe. It doesn't look like much, the style is from the 90s or earlier, and the interior could use some maintenance and updating, but the food was worth it.
