Squirrel Hill Cafe

Went here for the first time. These kinds of places are disappearing quick! Talked with the bartender who has been there for 40+ years. There wasn't a cool, so we didn't get to try the food, but we will definitely be back. Nice beer selection in cans and a few drafts.

A great tavern feel with wonderful food and friendly service. Highly recommend!!! Had my grandma, mother, brother, and twin daughters here. Was great!

Such a cool place. The grilled cheese is awesome and the prices are reasonable. My boyfriend and I got 3 alcoholic drinks and my grilled cheese 26 bucks. I also mistakenly forgot my wristlet. The bartender, who was very nice, noticed it and put it behind the bar where it was safe. The history behind the bar is also interesting. I will be back if I’m craving a grilled cheese.

Come here every time I’m in town to visit family. Great burger, even better fries! Won’t beat the price either. Billy the bartender makes a mean drink and it’s awesome to chat with

A very casual, neighborhood street cafe. Went here while strolling the shopping street. Surprisingly, the food is great here. I wasn't expecting that given the ambience is more like a busy little bar. On my second visit, I ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Haven't had such neat burger in a long time. They also have a custom ordered mustard which is stone ground, it was so good.
