Monkey Bar

Definitely try out Monkey Bar for a casual meal. It has a nice and very clean atmosphere, and a new outdoor seating area too. Food was good too: my Monkey Burger was excellent, French onion soup yummy. Nachos not so good (they use their own chili as topping instead of Mexican-seasoned ground beef), potato skins were great, great big dill pickle slice, yummy yummy yummy! Our server was fast and efficient but not affirmatively friendly. She needs to work on that. Restrooms were located in the basement down a steep flight of stairs so beware if that’s an issue for you. All in all, a good experience. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to try out the food and drink at Monkey Bar!

I’ve been to Monkey Bar 100+ times. Today I brought my father in law and sister in law for the first time from out of town. Sadly, we were treated like total outcasts. I watched 2 waitresses go to every table but ours numerous times until a new girl came in for her shift. It was almost like we weren’t their problem so “oh well”. In fact, they wouldn’t even look at us to try and get our attention. I never write reviews, but this was very disheartening from a repeat customer. Especially for a day I brought extended family bc I brag about this place.

Food is super good and their long islands are the best but don’t go there unless you’re paying cash. We went there and they charged us 2x. We asked to speak to a manager who they stated was present, got hung up on, called back again and they stated she wasn’t there. Apparently this isn’t the first time that this has happened to customers. Now we have to deal with our credit card company. Super disappointed and seems pretty shady.
