Scooter's Smokehouse & Grill

My wife and I stopped here at Scooters to eat while touring through the area. It's a small place but totally worth it. When we first walked in, you were overwhelmed with the great smell of smoked meat. We ordered the sliced Brisket sandwich with fries, and it did not disappoint. The Brisket tasted amazing, and the toasted fresh bun was perfection. The sauce was a compliment to the meat but not required as it had a beautiful bark and large smoke ring. I wished I could have eaten two sandwiches. Finally, the fries were hot and delicious, and we sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view of the mountainside. If you are ever in Georgetown CO, I highly recommend Scooters. True Texas Barbecue!

10/10. Definitely brought the TX BBQ to Colorado!! Portions were on point and price was on point. Everything tasted so good. Picture is after I ate about half the food. I got a half pound of chicken and 8 oz sweet potato fries and my boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and cornbread.

Wow, excellent food here. We had the 1 meat 1 Combo plate - more than enough for one person. Sliced brisket tasted terrific and came with tons of fries. We also had the jalapeno potato salad which was great and not too spicy. 4 BBQ sauces available, sweet and mild, sweet and spicy, spicy and mustard. All were excellent. Staff is super friendly, service (despite the line out the door) was fast too. There are only 7-8 seats inside, plenty of picnic tables outside though. You can also get it to go and eat across the street at the visitor center where there are more picnic tables.

Scooters' kicks a$$. Locals showed me the way. I work at Family Dollar. I've tried the potato salad, mac and cheese, onion rings, brisket, pulled pork, and everything 5/5. Looking forward to many more meals this summer!

If you find yourself ANYWHERE near here… come here… Amazingly huge and delicious flavors and taste for a fantastically small well run place!! From the kids meals to the rack of ribs, EVERYTHING here is impressive and delicious !! It does not miss!!
