Sarussi Cafeteria and Restaurant

Best sandwiches ever. Me and my wife got 1 of the originals each because I didn't feel like sharing this time. You must get their special sauce on the side to go as well.

I purchased a full Sarussi Original Sandwich to go but was very disappointed in the amount of ham and only 1 paper thin slice of pork! For the price of $20 it should have more meat like before! Don’t get me wrong it was good but not worth it for the price!

A hidden gem, although not pretty or glamorous but the sandwich with its secret sauce will make you feel like plankton from SpongeBob. It's all about that delicious sauce. It'll have you licking your plate.

For background, we visited Sanguich in little Havana due to rave reviews and recommendations. Even though the sandwiches were good, something was missing. There was no wow factor. Today, we decided to visit Sarussi, the Hialeah location for comparison. Ordered a 16" Cubano and one 16" sandwich de pierna. One word... Wow! From the smell to the taste of the bread, delicious! Barnone better than Sanguich in my honest opinion. To top it off, the service was attentive and friendly. Gave us a homey vibe like the one you get when visiting grandma . To close out our delicious meal, we could not leave without trying a coladito and a cortadito. Another wow... That's two wows. Thank you Sarussi for the delicious meal and attention. As a consumer aside from delicious food, what I look for the most is service and the overall customer experience. And Sarussi delivered it today. We will be back.

I decided to come to this place based on google reviews. My family was craving Cuban streak sandwiches. We ordered 5 Churrasco sandwiches…their special sauce is not so special. Their special sauces pretty much destroyed the original Cuban taste. very disappointing. Prices are overly priced. $14 per sandwich. ???? the quality wasn’t good. I recommend streak house.
