Sammy J's Breakfast Cafe

We like eating here wife had bacon and cheese omelet with home fries and rye toast. She enjoyed it. I had the deluxe French toast with fresh Italian bread cinnamon butter and powder sugar. Had four slices. Also two eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfect. But could hardly taste the cinnamon or power sugar. Server was great. Parking in front is tight. Plenty of parking in rear and rear entry. Also muffins chocolate chip and coffee cake to go. Very good.

Enjoyed the omelet (spinach, sausage and feta), ingredients were cooked before the egg and they had many potato options. Bonus points

This place is an absolute gem! We are from Europe travelling through US and we stopped for a little breakkie. Sammy J's smashed it. Staff was absolutely lovely and attentive, place has very cool design, typical American breakfast place you see in US movies. And the food guys... I don't even know how to describe this pleasure I had from the very first bite. If not sure what to order, just ask staff! :-) Warning for Europeans: portions are massive (but we still manage to eat it all!). You just must go to Sammy J's!

1st time here. Waitress was absolutely a doll. Great, friendly attitude. Atmosphere was clean and laid back. Didn't feel rushed. I ordered the Italian French toast and homemade hash. French toast was aluttle undone, hash was good. I would give it another try when I come back to the area and try something different. Prices were reasonable.

Don't be fooled by the exterior, Sammy J's is a traveller's treasure. The wait staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the food is hot, delicious, and dirt cheap. Trust me when I say bring your appetite!
