I love how my frizzy hair turned out. Jay has carefully and kindly worked on straightening my hair. The whole experience was very satisfying and awesome. Some stylists ask too many questions which make me feel like they are doing my background checks or try to sell other services. But he has made me super comfortable that I wanna recommend this place to everyone. He is a good listener, professional, kind, courteous, and respecting your preferences. Plus, the price is super reasonable. Wont look further anymore. Will stick to this place as my regular salon.

I got a haircut from this place about 3 weeks ago. The stylist that worked on my hair was a slightly older lady. I didn't catch her name. I thought she was the owner but I guess she wasn't? I asked for lots of layers and to thin out as much as possible because I have a lot of hair and the stylist did just that. She was kind and hardworking so at the time when I was leaving the salon, I thought I had a pretty decent experience and left quite happy with my haircut. When I came home and checked my hair after a shower, I realized my hair felt different? Usually after a haircut, my fingers run through my hair nice and smooth and it doesn't tangle as much but this time, I couldn't brush through the tangles. The condition of my hair prior to the haircut was much better than afterwards. Perhaps the blades on the scissors were not sharp or perhaps my hair was just not cut right... Also, when I took a closer look at my layers, they didn't look as blended...? Almost like a staircase, very choppy. The layers of my hair lengths were all over the place, some short and some long and of course, it is only noticeable when I take a closer look. I am not sure exactly what went wrong. I read all the positive reviews and saw all the amazing photos. I was definitely taken aback with my poor experience. The stylist that cut my hair had a warm and inviting personality but did something to my hair that I am very upset about so I am torn as I am writing this review. I guess for those of you wondering if this salon is worth a visit, ask for the owner and maybe you will have a better experience and a haircut than I did. Good luck!

I've been to this place about three times now, and Jay has always taken great care of my hair. Jay is very friendly, kind, and personable. He makes everyone feel very comfortable. Most importantly, he makes a great effort to communicate and understand what you really want. As you all know, some hairdressers completely ignore your preferences and do what they think is best for you, which often ends up being a disaster. However, Jay is different and ensures that he understands your desires before proceeding.

I had a haircut and perm with Jay and it turned out exactly how I wanted it! 10/10 service and skills, would definitely go back next time and recommend to anyone who needs Asian haircut!

I highly recommend this place for someone who has very frizzy damaged hair that needs treatment. My hair is very wavy, thick, and it’s been bleached twice so it was really dry and frizzy but I got the straight perm + keratin treatment and my hair looks so soft and not as frizzy I definitely recommend this place. I think they are very busy and book up really quick so I recommend calling them to schedule an appointment P.S first selfie photo is my super damaged wavy hair and second selfie is after I got my treatment Third photo is a picture I took in the salon! I am very picky and I really appreciated the owner’s customer service as well as his professionalism! Definitely recommend 10/10
