Royal Fried Chicken - Central Falls

This place specializes in chicken. Clean establishment, speedy service with great food options centered around chicken, sandwiches, salads, lamb, beef, and some seafood. Halal certified. Well priced options. This location is where our team grabs takeout for a mid-production lunch.

Beautiful building. Great addition for Central Falls. Lovely opening ceremony. Great small business owner story. The chicken wasn’t as crispy as you’d expect from a fried chicken place but the flavor was good. They were very packed and obviously busy with the opening event so I’ll go back and give it another chance for sure.

Be aware: both my wife and I got severe case of food poisoning from the chicken and lamb rice platter. We’ve eaten here many times but clearly something is up with food safety. Will not be coming back. Turns out the state did an inspection mid-December 2023 and found violations of food safety and cleanliness! Avoid this place at all costs!

Good meal, affordable. Food was very hot temperatures and plenty of it. Chicken was hot and fresh. Fries were crispy. Mashed potatoes and cole slaw were lacking. Fried chicken was moist and had a salty peppery crispy outside. Very nice.

The set up of the tables were rather odd but the place looked clean. The chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked crispy yet moist meat. I placed an ordered and took the chicken home for my kids dinner. The chicken was still crispy when I arrived home.
