I almost always stop here when traveling on highway 5 near Willows, Ca. Restaurant is conveniently located just off the interstate. Their food and selection is always great. The people working there are always courteous and friendly. Pricing is extremely reasonable for the food provided. Additionally, there is plenty of parking and the wait for fresh, delicious food is always short. No disappointments here.
Better than expected food, long wait... and there was nobody there. The salsa was runny.. but the burritos were good. I'll stop in again and try something else..
Food was fresh tasting. We had a shrimp taco, fish taco, and carne assada super burrito. The salsa on the shrimp taco was very good. Unfortunately the fish was fried so I wasn’t able to eat it due to my not eating gluten. My friend ate it and enjoyed it. My friend also had the super burrito and was very happy with the carne assada and size of the burrito. Staff was very helpful with answering questions. I really appreciate this. The menus was large but not too big. I was eating there but was given takeout style with styrofoam and bag, which I did not want either. I would prefer a plate. There were several places to sit with different shading options and nice plants and colors. Close to the freeway and EV charging stations. There were a lot of flys but this time of year there are lots of flys in the farm towns.
Traveling through Williams on Thanksgiving Day so we expected we’d have to have fast food. This taqueria was open and the food was FANTASTIC! I had shrimp tacos. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the peppers were delicious and the chipotle sauce was so flavorful. Probably my favorite Thanksgiving meal ever!
I wanted to like this place. It's a nice open air spot that looks legit but isn't. Why do I say that? Because they use Velveeta in a can for their nachos and asada fries. I'm a "gringo" and even I know this is disrespectful to the customer and their hard earned dollar. I also asked for the fries not to be soggy and got soggy fries...it isn't rocket science to cook them a little longer. The asada was fine, I'm sure other dishes are decent but avoid those two. If anyone knows a good quick spot for either of these on I-5 let, me know por favor.
