Red Prairie Steakhouse

Food was decent. Service was horrible. Never could get a refill of ice tea.

The food was excellent, portions were nice sized. Staff was friendly, just not detailed oriented. Interior was a bit outdated, however it was very clean!

The restaurant is clean, and retro (but not on purpose) inside. Charming in a 1980's kinda way. The service was friendly, but not diligent. I was there for over an hour and my empty glass was never refilled, and after she gave it to me, I never saw the waitress again. I can only speak for the salad bar: Don't go here looking for a salad bar. It's not gonna be what you're after. Maybe the hot food is better?

I ordered a half rack baby back ribs with baked beans. I was told upon arrival baked beans were only sold on certain days and Friday was not one of those days. I am not a local resident and truly felt unwelcome. I expect when paying for an order and I hand my credit card to the cashier , I expect the same courtesy. Also when receiving my order to not be treated as if your greeter doesn't want to touch my hand, just common courtesies would have been appreciated. I substituted my beans for fries they were cold and the ribs were ok I've had better .

Pretty good place. Had a medium ribeye. It was cooked as ordered, not tough and had a good flavor. Salad bar has plenty choose from. Service was good.
