Love Sam! She is the only one that does my hair perfect every time. And not afraid to thin my thick hair! Like everyone seems to be! I will travel for her!

Came in to have my daughter's cut today and when we walk in they look at us for a hard minute like we shouldn't be there and then ask if they can help us. I told them I needed my daughter's hair cut and the first thing out of the owner's mouth is "Is she mixed". That question there irked me right away as her race should not be a question asked. She then proceeded to tell us that they are not equipped to deal with her hair and don't have the products to comb through her hair. My daughter does not have extremely tight curls and her hair can be brushed through with just water and conditioner.Once I made the statement that I do not like getting her hair cut at places I have not had cut my hair personally, she then started to say she could do it and it's just they straighten the hair first... everywhere I have taken my daughter will cut her hair that way. I then told her I would go elsewhere. I will no longer take my money here and would say if anyone has curly hair to go elsewhere. This establishment is only good for straight hair and not hair with texture. Also a tip for the owner, don't ask what a person's child is, it is rude. My daughter is a person and should not be asked if she is mixed. Next time just look at someone's hair first and then state you are not trained to do curly hair like hers.
