We absolutely love this place. The food is so good and every time we go they seat us right away and our food is brought quickly. Our server was super sweet and made the experience even better. I highly recommend it! Sorry, I forgot to take the pics before we started eating, so some of the food was already eaten, lol

We ordered the fried mushrooms. They were fresh ones they battered and fried, and they were delicious. My husband had a burger that he loved. The half basket of fries was enough for two people. I had the sweet chili shrimp appetizer for my meal. The shrimp were great but not spicy. If the ranch dressing had been homemade, the shrimp appetizer would have been excellent! We both drank tea. If you’re in Carolina beach, stop here!! The service was great, food was AMAZING, and it was such a cute spot! It was very clean inside and we never had an empty cup :)) I highly suggest the bacon cheese fries! The fries are crispy, hot, and SEASONED before being covered in the cheese and bacon???? so SO good! Also, it’s not often you see Kool-Aid on the drink menu :) how fun!

Great atmosphere, decor and dining furnishings. Hot rods and historical pics from the area in the fifties. Came in for early lunch and had no issue with table. Food came out at a reasonable time for being made to order. Plenty of food options. We tried the phillies, burgers and fried shrimp. Fried okra was fresh and crispy, French fries were fresh and nicely seasoned and cold macaroni salad was straight from grandmas cookbook. Fried Oreos and the flavor infused soft serve was a hit with the family. Service was top notch. As others noted parties of 5 or more a tip is automatically included (sign on hostess stand) and as with other local restaurants, the fee for credit card use is passed along to the customer. Spent about $30 pp. parking is easy to find, but quite pricey $20 for 2 hours for the lot behind the restaurant.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and we had family rent an Airbnb in CB and decided after they left, to finally check it out. Food is definitely pricey and unless you want to pay an almost 4% service fee, cash is preferred. Our waitress was nice and gave us some recommendations. We got the smoked chicken salad sandwich and the fried shrimp po’boy. My boyfriend loved the po’boy and said the coleslaw was fantastic! The chicken salad was good as well, add bacon to it for an added crunch! Only downside is you have to pay extra for any sides so our sandwiches were already $$ so we unfortunately didn’t get to try fries or other sides. We will definitely come again when we are in the area and happen to have cash. It’s definitely a good place to eat on the island!
