Olde Salty

This place was wonderful! Delicious food and amazing service - but make sure to go to their new address, 11 Boardwalk Ave, Suite 140, Carolina Beach. Highly recommend!

We went in for an early dinner and there were a few people inside and on the outdoor patio. I had the grilled salmon over fresh greens and my wife had the peel and eat shrimp plate. Both were very good and the service was good.

The food was fantastic! I was a bit worried after reading reviews but gave it a try anyways, and wasn’t disappointed! The crab legs were every bit as good as Micheals and the steamed shrimp were even better! My husband go the fried shrimp and loved it as well! They were a bit short staffed, but service was still very good … 2022* they are still open just moved to the boardwalk!

Hands down the best crab legs and shrimp I've had on this side of the globe.. considering COVID and the off season these were still incredibly fresh and absolutely cooked to perfection. Aside from the food the atmosphere is outstanding, the server/bartender was very attentive and super friendly. After eating dinner there we felt just like family. If you are anything like me and love to find the small town gems in a town instead of going to a chain restaurant this is absolutely the place to go! This is now on my must visit list any time I come back to the area.

Food and customer service was great!! Not too pack like most other popular seafood joints. Feels like home away from home, lay back environment. Will recommended!!
