Margaritas were strong...just how we like them :-) Gigantic burrito and taco/burrito combo dinner were delicious ????

The service is fast the food is good and the price is reasonable.

We went on a Friday and it was very busy. Waited 5mins to be seated. Our waiter came and took our drink order, brought chips and salsa. Drinks were very good. Food took maybe 15 mins and was very good as well. Will definitely be making a comeback.

Our party of 6 was seated right away, for dinnertime. It was a big occasion - husband's 50th birthday - and we'd come hoping for mariachi musicians, but we were disappointed there. Our server was attentive at first, visiting our table frequently, glued to our needs for refills of salsas and beverages, etc., but in the latter half of our meal it was like he forgot all about us. The food was less good than "just okay." Three out of the six of us brought home our leftovers for the one we call our "garbage disposal," who'll eat anything. It was really disappointing. Because of that, we'll visit one of the many other locations serving Mexican food in town. Maybe it's just 'cause we're gringas. Idk. But I've eaten plenty of comidas auténticas and never came away feeling this let down. My daughter tipped the staff off to it being Hub's birthday, and our server and 3 others came over with dessert and Sombrero to sing HB to him. That was fun, and really cute, so I did really appreciate that.

Plaza Tapatia has great food and great service. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. You're brought a serving of chips, salsa, and dip to start, and the menu has an incredible number of items to choose from. Price-wise, it's one of the most affordable dinner spots in town.
